Hezbollah Launches Drone Attacks on Israel

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted one of the three drones launched from Lebanon by terror group Hezbollah on Friday. The other two landed in northern Israel, seriously injuring four IDF soldiers. According to the Israeli army, one of the drones hit an army position near Kibbutz Menara, while the other landed on an open field. All the injured soldiers are receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

While claiming responsibility, Hezbollah also revealed it had fired several mortars at Arab al-Aramshe village in the Western Galilee. No injuries or casualties were reported.

IDF Set to Respond to Hezbollah’s Attacks

In response to Hezbollah’s latest attacks, the IDF said it plans to launch airstrikes against the terror group’s sites located in southern Lebanon. Since the Hamas-Israel war began in early October, Hezbollah has launched multiple drone attacks on northern Israel. However, while Israel has been responding to the militia group’s attacks, the IDF says it’s trying as much as possible to avoid engaging in activities that might escalate the ongoing fight.

Hezbollah’s airstrikes have so far murdered five IDF soldiers and two civilians. The IDF, on the other hand, has killed over 80 people in Lebanon, including 69 Hezbollah members, nine Palestinian terrorists, one Reuter journalist, and several civilians.

Meanwhile, Avichay Adraee, the Israel Defense Forces Arabic spokesperson, has reported that Hamas’ errant missile caused the explosion at the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza earlier this month. According to Adraee, the terror group was targeting the IDF soldiers operating close to the hospital but missed its target, hitting the medical centre instead.

Hamas Blames IDF for Blast at Al-Buraq School

Yesterday, Al-Shifa received over 40 bodies killed in an airstrike on Al-Buraq school. According to reports from Gaza, among the people who lost their lives in the strike is the granddaughter of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Hamas has already blamed Israel for the attack while claiming that the people killed had taken shelter in the learning institution after being displaced from their homes. The IDF has yet to comment on the latest blast.
