Israeli Technology Companies Raise $11 Billion in First Nine Months of 2026

Privately held Israeli technology companies raised more than $11 billion during the first nine months of 2026, according to preliminary data from IVC Data and Insights and LeumiTech.
The total is approximately 50 percent higher than during the corresponding period in 2025.
The third quarter
Israeli technology companies raised about $3.6 billion across 91 disclosed financing rounds during the third quarter alone. That was 53 percent higher than in the third quarter of 2025, although it was about 7 percent below the average quarterly level recorded during the first half of 2026.
The figures are preliminary. IVC and LeumiTech said their complete third quarter Israeli Tech Review would be published later.
Where the money went
The early data also show that capital remains heavily concentrated in several sectors.
Cybersecurity companies raised approximately $4.3 billion during the first nine months of the year, representing 38 percent of total capital raised.
Enterprise software accounted for close to 30 percent, its highest share since 2020, according to IVC.
Foreign investors also remain important to the Israeli technology market. The preliminary figures indicate that foreign funds accounted for more than 70 percent of investments.
The quarterly stage breakdown shows around $1.8 billion going to mid stage financing rounds, approximately $1 billion to early stage companies and about $840 million to late stage companies.
Defense technology, space and quantum companies together raised about $170 million during the third quarter.
Reading the headline figures
The headline growth should be interpreted carefully.
Fundraising totals can be influenced significantly by a relatively small number of very large rounds, especially in cybersecurity. Capital raised also does not directly measure revenue, profitability, employment or the health of every part of the startup ecosystem.
Even with those qualifications, the year over year comparison provides evidence of substantial international and domestic investment continuing to flow into Israeli technology companies during 2026.
The full IVC and LeumiTech report will provide a clearer picture of how broadly that growth is distributed.
