Why Do Muslims Hate Jews and Israel?

Many Muslims and Arabs have a culturally and religiously rooted hatred of Jews (antisemitism). Since 1948 when the Jewish state of Israel came to be, this problem has increased ten fold. In the history of Judaism there have been many pogroms against Jews. The term “pogrom” has historically been used to describe organized, violent attacks on Jewish communities, particularly in Eastern Europe during the 19th and 20th centuries. In contemporary discussions, this term has sometimes been employed to describe anti-Israel sentiments and actions.

Should Jews be Afraid of More Pogroms?

Many Jews and Jewish families around the world and outside of Israel currently are very much afraid. They see what happened in Israel on the 7th of October and what is happening all around the world with growing anti-Jewish and anti-Israel sentiments and hatred.

But, they should not be too afraid. In most countries where Jews live the governments are anti-Hamas and do not have much patience for terrorism and Islamist extremists. This means that in any cases where Muslims may be planning pogroms, the governments and police will step in and stop it from happening. Most western countries are not pro Palestinian or pro Hamas and will not allow pogroms to happen.
