A mathematics instructor at South Carolina State University is facing scrutiny after watchdog group StopAntisemitism alleged that he is behind a prominent social-media account accused of promoting Holocaust denial, opposing Holocaust education and spreading pseudoscientific claims about Jewish ancestry.
The instructor, Darriell L. Dickerson, is currently listed by South Carolina State University as an instructor in its Department of Computer Science & Mathematics. University records also show Dickerson teaching mathematics courses including Quantitative Reasoning-Precalculus and Introduction to Mathematical Sciences.
The controversy centers on an online persona known as “Semitic Jew.”
A Public Link Between “Darriell D.” and Semitic Jew
While publicly accessible evidence reviewed by Israel News Post does not conclusively establish that Dickerson personally operates the X account associated with the Semitic Jew persona, there is a significant public connection between someone identifying himself as “Darriell D.” and the organization behind the name.
A 2023 GoFundMe fundraiser organized by “Semitic Jew” states: “my name is Darriell D.” The organizer describes himself as the founder of Semitic Jew Inc., which he says was created to develop educational materials for an “Israelites community” in America.
The fundraiser lists its organizer as being in Chapin, South Carolina.
The current Semitic Jew website likewise identifies Semitic Jew Inc. as an educational nonprofit and lists its founder under the Semitic Jew persona. The website also gives its location as Chapin, South Carolina.
These records provide substantially more evidence of a connection than the social-media allegation alone: a person publicly identifying himself as “Darriell D.” explicitly described himself as the founder of the organization using the Semitic Jew name.
They do not, however, independently prove that Darriell L. Dickerson controls every social-media account using that identity.
Watchdog Alleges Holocaust Denial and Antisemitic Content
StopAntisemitism alleged that Dickerson is behind the X account “Semitic Jew” and accused the account of publishing material that includes Holocaust denial, arguments that the Holocaust should not be taught in schools, and pseudoscientific DNA claims concerning Jewish identity.
Those are serious allegations.
Israel News Post was not able to independently authenticate the specific posts cited in those accusations through publicly accessible archives. Searches also did not uncover an independent watchdog report or news investigation documenting the individual Holocaust-related posts.
Accordingly, those claims should at present be treated as allegations by StopAntisemitism rather than independently established statements by Dickerson.
What Semitic Jew Says About Its Mission
What can be independently established is that the Semitic Jew project promotes an Israelite-centered interpretation of biblical identity.
Its website says its founder is dedicated to restoring dignity particularly to “the Israelites who are scattered to the four corners of the Earth” and describes its work as combining Scripture, history and logic.
The 2023 fundraiser is more explicit about the community the project seeks to serve. It refers to Black, Hispanic and Native American communities while describing them collectively within an Israelite religious framework.
Semitic Jew has since become a registered 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit and continues producing articles, podcasts, videos and biblical educational material. Its own website describes Semitic Jew Inc. as an educational nonprofit.
Dickerson’s Role at South Carolina State University
There is considerably less ambiguity surrounding Dickerson’s academic employment.
South Carolina State University’s official directory lists Darriell L. Dickerson as an instructor in Computer Science & Mathematics within its College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Transportation.
Official university course schedules show him teaching multiple mathematics classes across several semesters. In Spring 2024, for example, Dickerson was assigned several sections of Introduction to Mathematical Sciences. In Fall 2025, university records listed him as the instructor for two Quantitative Reasoning-Precalculus sections.
That makes the allegations particularly sensitive. They concern not simply an anonymous social-media personality, but someone whom public records connect to a project devoted to religious and historical education while he separately holds a teaching position at a public university.
Questions That Still Need Answers
The available evidence establishes that Dickerson is a South Carolina State mathematics instructor and provides a notable public trail connecting a “Darriell D.” in Chapin to the founding of Semitic Jew Inc.
What it does not yet independently establish is that Dickerson personally controls the @semitic_jew X account or personally authored the specific Holocaust-related posts attributed to it by StopAntisemitism.
Those distinctions matter.
