Two Hamas Nukhba terrorists involved in Shani Louk’s abduction during the October 7 massacre and the planning of an explosive attack that killed four Israeli tank crew members have been eliminated in separate strikes in Gaza, the IDF and Shin Bet announced.

The strikes took place a day apart. Tamer Mohammed Ibrahim al Sabbagh was eliminated in Jabalia on Monday, while Musa Abd Mohammed Hamouda was eliminated in Gaza City on Sunday.

The security services identified both as members of Hamas’s Nukhba assault force. Al Sabbagh infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and participated in Louk’s abduction. Hamouda helped plan the September 8, 2025 explosive attack that killed four soldiers from the 52nd Battalion.

Terrorist Who Participated in Shani Louk’s Abduction Eliminated

The IDF and Shin Bet announced al Sabbagh’s elimination Tuesday, identifying him by his full name and detailing his participation in the October 7 massacre.

Al Sabbagh crossed into Israel as a member of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force and took part in Louk’s abduction, the security services said. He was eliminated in a strike in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

The announcement identified al Sabbagh’s personal involvement in the infiltration and abduction. His elimination followed the separate strike against Hamouda in Gaza City the previous day.

Terrorist Who Helped Plan Deadly Tank Attack Eliminated

Hamouda participated in planning the explosive attack that killed four members of an Israeli tank crew on September 8, 2025, according to the IDF and Shin Bet.

The soldiers killed were Lt. Matan Abramovich, Sgt. Amit Aryeh Regev, Staff Sgt. Uri Lamed and Sgt. Gadi Kotel. All four served in the 52nd Battalion.

The attack occurred while the soldiers were serving under the command of the 162nd Division during Operation Gideon’s Chariots.

Hamouda’s elimination in Gaza City targeted a terrorist involved in preparing that attack. The security services identified his role specifically as participation in its planning.

The Same Division Carried Out the Strike

The IDF said its 215th Artillery Brigade carried out the strike that eliminated Hamouda. The brigade belongs to the 162nd Division, the same formation under whose command the four tank crew members served.

For the division, the operation brought a direct connection between the loss of its soldiers and the elimination of a terrorist involved in planning the attack against them.

The two strikes targeted terrorists responsible for different roles in attacks against Israelis: al Sabbagh’s participation in the October 7 infiltration and Louk’s abduction, and Hamouda’s involvement in planning the later attack on the tank crew.

Both were members of Hamas’s Nukhba force, and both were eliminated in operations announced by the IDF and Shin Bet.
