Julianna Margulies’ Massage to Her Non-Jewish Friends

Earlier this week, popular actress Julianna Margulies had a message for her non-Jewish friends who have not contacted her since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7.

In an open letter, she said the ongoing war has made her realize that her non-Jewish friends don’t have an idea of the experience that the Jewish people have had over the years. Margulies suspected that these friends did not even know about the Holocaust executed by Nazis, in which over six million Jews lost their lives.

“Just Two Non-Jewish Friends Have Reached Out,” Margulies Claims

The actress revealed that only two of her many non-Jewish friends had made efforts to reach out to check if she was doing well. In the letter, Margulies said the failure of her non-Jewish friends to contact her prompted her to imagine the Jews during the Holocaust and how they felt when nobody defended them or spoke out against their oppressors.

The Israeli actress also wondered why most of the actors in the US haven’t publicly declared their support for Israel and condemned Hamas while she joined them in the “Black Lives Matter” campaign and has been advocating for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

Meanwhile, Margulies says she does not blame her non-Jewish friends for failing to reach out, arguing that they do not have a full picture of what Jewish people have gone through. She, however, admits that she and other Jews are suffering and need the world to hear their cries for help.

Margulies Speaks on Antisemitism

Regarding the rising antisemitism in US colleges, Margulies claims that someone must be teaching the students to hate the Jewish people. Her statement comes two weeks after some Jewish students in a New York-based college were attacked by pro-Palestinian students.

The actress says college students who are siding with Hamas and are members of the LGBTQ+ community are likely to be beheaded once they reach Gaza because the terror group does not tolerate gay people. That can’t be far from the truth, given that Palestine is ranked among the worst countries for LGBTQ+ community members to live in.
